The Hamilton community is getting its first look at what an important new building in the town could look like.
Southern Grampians Shire Council has released concept designs for the Hamilton Community Hub, Library and Civic Square complex.
This will in the heart of town, in Lonsdale Street, and will come at the cost of $34 million.
Council is now asking ratepayers to check out the concept designs and have their say.
Council staff will be available to speak with members of the public about the project until June 19.
This window of opportunity will include a Community Information Session at the Hamilton Cinema on June 17.
Southern Grampians Shire Council Mayor Cr Dennis Heslin said the release of the concept designs marks an exciting milestone for the region.
“We’re excited to share these concept designs with our community,” Cr Heslin said.
“This project represents a significant investment in Hamilton’s future and will create welcoming, accessible spaces that bring people together, connect residents with services, and support community life for generations to come.”
