When local truck driver Eddie White was arriving in Allansford this afternoon he wasn’t expecting to be involved in what could have been a fatal mistake by an overtaking vehicle.
As the truck driver slowed to begin turning onto the Great Ocean Road from the Princes Highway, the vehicle in question attempted to overtake the truck to discover that he became on the other side of the wire barrier that separates both the lanes.
In dash cam vision provided to South West Local News, it shows the vehicle speeding past the truck, and veering back to the right side of the highway just before oncoming traffic.
A scary thought for anyone who would have seen that vehicle heading straight to towards them.
