Tributes continue to the flow for a young driver who was tragically killed in a road accident near Bannockburn on Monday morning.
In a post on its Facebook page, BlazeAid paid respects to one of its international volunteers, who tragically died after dropping off his partner to volunteer at BlazeAids Skipton camp.
In a statement, BlazeAide Coordinator Chris Male paid her respects to the young man, who was originally from the UK
“We are all in shock”, the statement started.
“As News came in this morning that tragically a young International BlazeAider Aaron from the UK lost his life on the road near Bannockburn ( Geelong) after dropping his Spanish love of his life -Sandra – off at Skipton BlazeAid for volunteering after 7 am.” it continued.
“It appears he fell asleep before a head on collision with a truck.”

The BlazeAid team supporting the Skipton community is made up of 40 volunteers, including several young internationals trying to get their 88 day VISAS up by volunteering after Australian Natural disasters.
“We are wrapping our arms around Aarons partner at the BlazeAid camp in Skipton, and giving her all the support we can right now”
It’s understood that Aaron, 26 and Sandra were travelling together in Australia.
“Aaron was only 26 and Sandra was the only one Police could ask to identify him,” the statement continued.
