Vehicles and pedestrians are living in harmony thanks to a new crossing in East Warrnambool.
The pedestrian crossing on Otway Rod is now operational.
The road has 7000 vehicle movements a day, with the crossing identified as being needed in the East Warrnambool Local Area Traffic Management Plan.
New works will start this month to widened the path under the Otway Road rail bridge.
These works will continue until early June.
