But this video below shows a classic piece of spirit from man and horse.
Jockey Dean Parker and his ride Bazini came unstuck half-way through the race when they clipped a jump and fell.
Not only were both uninjured, but the jockey set off to catch his horse, with the pair reuniting to the roars of the crowd.
