Money continues to be found to install infrastructure for one of Warrnambool’s key growth areas.
In its 2026-27 draft budget, Warrnambool City Council will source a $3 million loan for the Wollaston Road project.
This money will be borrowed by council and will help complete the project.
The project is aimed at ensuring the correct infrastructure is in place, such as footpaths, roundabouts, lighting and bike lanes, to cater for the continuing spike in the population of the area as more houses are built.
