Member for Wannon Den Tehan is leading an Australian parliamentary delegation to Taiwan from today to Friday.
Mr Tehan is part of the delegation through his role as Shadow Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction.
The mission will include high-level discussions with senior government leaders and
ministerial officials, and aims to strengthen Australia and Taiwans established energy trade relationship.
Australia imported $3.6 billion worth of refined petroleum from Taiwan in 2024.
The trip is fully funded by the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Australia.
