It was a weekend full of adventure for Ollie the Jack Russell and his owner Brianna Ryan.
On Saturday, Ollie set off for a look around his family property in Allansford.
When he hadn’t returned by Saturday night, Ms Ryan was a little worried.
When Sunday morning dawned and Ollie was still not home, Ms Ryan went searching.
“He had gone chasing rabbits,” Ms Ryan said.
“He had been stuck once before doing the same thing and the SES had had to come.
“On Sunday when I was looking for him I thought I heard him underground so I called the SES again to help.
“It turns out he was stuck underground near old power poles that were laying in the paddock.
“It took the SES two or three hours to get him out, but they did and he was safe.
“It was the same SES crew from last time and we are very thankful to them.
“Ollie had been missing for 24 hours but he was fine when he came out.”
