The town’s biggest hotel, the Lady Bay, had taken bar service to another level.
The Bay had decided to have topless barmaids serving during its lunch time trade.
The move attracted big crowds, both those inside the pub drinking, and those outside protesting.
The concept of topless barmaids in Warrnambool didn’t last too long, but long enough for the Lady Bay to get plenty of eyes on it for its bold move.
