UPDATE: FULL RESOURCES THROWN AT SEARCH

A lead on the whereabouts of missing Tahara woman Lisa, 40, has come to nothing for police.

There have been reports Lisa may have been in the Wallacedale and Portland areas in recent days.

An extensive search was conducted of the area surrounding her home by uniform police, Air Wing, Dog Squad and State Emergency Services volunteers however no sign of Lisa was located.

A search was also conducted of the Wallacedale area on Monday and Tuesday after a sighting was reported, which was also unsuccessful.

Lisa is described as 155cm tall, with long black hair and a thin build.

It’s not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

It’s believed she left her rural property on foot, west of Hamilton, on Friday 3 April.
