A man has died following a motorcycle crash in Portland on Monday evening.
It is believed the motorcyclist was travelling along Quarry Road when he lost control and crashed into a gate just after 8pm.
The rider, a 56-year-old Portland man, died at the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
