WARRNAMBOOL WRITER HITS LOCAL STAGE

Written by Line Bonnaure

The show Stuck, written by Megan Twycross, will hit the local theatre for the first time today, 12th of June at 1:30 pm and Saturday, 13th of June at 7:30 pm.

Megan Twycross, a local woman from Warrnambool, went through a lot of challenges, a long journey to set the play and coming from an idea to a performance on stage.

Stuck is darkly comic, a mix of humour and honesty, it takes aim at misogyny, patriarchy and the systems that keep women down. In a small-town supermarket deli, two nameless women slice meat while cutting each other down. Deep themes but full of entertainment.

STUCK unites theatre-makers such as director Susie Dee (Creative Australia Award for Theatre) with actors Caroline Lee and Eva Seymour.
