Five south west municipalities have had their fire restrictions period shortened.
Warrnambool, Moyne, Corangamite, Southern Grampians and Colac will all have their fire restrictions removed on April 20.
This comes after a time frame of May 1 was originally listed for the lifting of restrictions.
For Glenelg Shire, restrictions will remain in place until May 1.
Burning off is prohibited during fire restriction periods.
