Four teams remain in the race for the 2025/26 Peter Baulch Bridgestone T20 Cup.
Northern Raiders, Port Fairy, Allansford-Panmure & Merrivale have won through to the Warrnambool & Moyne District Cricket Association’s Grand Final Day on January 11th at Warrnambool’s Reid Oval.
It comes after two of the pool games were broadcast online for the first time in local cricket history, as part of a partnership with Fitzmedia and the association.
The contest between Warrnambool & Russells Creek went down to the final over in the opening night of competition, thanks to a stellar batting effort from English Import Jack Akinson, who blasted 24 not out off just 14 balls.
Batting first at the Brierly Oval, Russells Creek made 6 for 138.
In the run chase, former Creek player Damon Cooper led the way for Warrnambool, making 55.
