Local Peek Whurrong and Kirrae Whurrong artist Bailey Mifsud, known by her artistic name Merinda Gunya has completed a mural at Marvel Stadium that will be on display for the next two years.
Located near Gate 9, the mural features her iconic pastel colour palette.
It was commissioned as part of the AFL’s Sir Douglas Nicholls Round, with the commission also including a sherrin football.
This follows fellow local artist Sheree Johnstone’s affiliation with the Geelong Cats last year, having designed the club’s 2025 Sir Douglas Nicholls Round jerseys.
