GOAL FEAST COULD BE LEAGUE RECORD

Koroit’s Open grade netballers have bounced back from their opening round loss in style.

The Saints lost their Good Friday game to South Warrnambool by 27 goals, but in round one, made an enormous statement.

They hosted the Hamilton Kangaroos on Saturday and went on to win the game 102 to 27.

Rebecca Hicks, in her first season with the Saints, shot an incredible 93 goals.

It is unsure if both the team and individual scores are Hampden Open grade records.

In othe games, South Warrnambool defeated Cobden 39-21, Port Fairy 47 to Portland 28, Terang Mortlake 42 to Camperdaown 40, Warrnambool 41 to North Warrnambool Eagles 26.
