The volunteer committee behind the Glenmore Pony Express has announced the event has been cancelled.
The committee said it had reached the point where it was no longer feasible to deliver an event of this scale in a safe and sustainable manner.
It cited a range of factors, including rising operational costs, increased regulatory requirements, and the growing complexity of event management.
The Pony Express was ran by the Warrnambool Motorcycle Club and was due to be held in Grassmere on April 25 and 26.
