A familair face will lead Terang Mortlake into its first season of smnior women’s football.
Shae De Francesco has appointed to coach the Bloods for the 2026 Western Victoria Female Football League season.
De Francesco is a formr vice captain of the Bloods under 18s team and was runner up the best and fairest.
She played for Modewarre in the Barwon league last season.
Last season, she continued to develop her football with Modewarre Football & Netball Club in the Barwon Football Netball League, further building her experience at a high level.
Her talents extend beyond football. During the current cricket season, Shae played with Simpson Cricket Club, earning the prestigious Colac Herald Cricket Star Player award. She also represented at representative level cricket, where she was named Player of the Year.
An all-round sports star, leader, and competitor — and now she can add a history-making coaching appointment to her growing list of achievements.
Congratulations Shae — it’s fantastic to have you on board as we enter this exciting new era for our Senior Women’s program.
Terang Mortlake’s first game of the season will be against  Cavendish on March 29.
