The summer season has finished early for a south west community’s public swimming pool.
A leak has been found in the Dunkeld Swimming Pool, with the facility officially closed from Wednesday March 4 to have it fixed.
Given this was the final planned week of the pool’s summer opening season, the decision has been made to keep the pool closed until its opening next summer.
The Southern Grampians Shire Council apologised for any public inconvenience, but said the decision was made to ensure the task of fixing the pool was given the time it needed.
