TIME FOR BUSINESS END OF SEASON

The home-and-away season has come to an end in Warrnambool Moyne Premier division cricket.

Finals will begin this weekend, with Allansford-Panmure and Nestles having the week off after finishing first and second on the ladder.

The first week of finals will be two-day games played on Saturday and Sunday.

Russells Creek will play Mortlake while Dennington will face Port Fairy.

The winners of these games will go through, while the losers will be eliminated. 

On Saturday in the last round it was a day for the batsmen with four centuries scored.

These came from Chris Bant 118, Daniel Meade 100 (Allansford Panmure), Theo Opperman 104 (Merrivale) and Ben Threlfall 101 not out (West Warrnambool).
