The CFA responded to reports of a grass and scrub fire at around 12:52pm on Timboon-Peterborough Road, Peterborough.
Two CFA units from Peterborough and Lower Heytesbury brigades are responding to the scene.
The incident was deemed under control at 1:05pm.
Crews remain on scene.
The relevant power company has been notified.
