HAY CONVOY COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL MISSION

It was the case as far as the eye could see as a convoy with a big heart left the south west on Saturday morning.

The more than 50 trucks were carrying some valuable cargo, over 2000 bales of hay.

All drivers and farmers involved were donating their time and goods to get the hay to Alexandra in the state’s north.

This area has been heavily affected by fire, with the hay a welcome sight for farmers doing it tough.

The hay run was organized by prominent Allansford community member Eddie White.

The trucks were greeted along the way by plenty of supporters cheering them on from the side of the road.
