Road Trauma Awareness Month has commenced, and the Road Trauma Support Group, Amber Community are coming to Warrnambool to raise awareness.Â
The “Shine a Light on Road Safety” event will be held on Sunday, the 17th of May.
With the aim of bringing together families, individuals and workplaces to honour lives lost and support those affected by road trauma.
Funds raised through the campaign allow the Amber community to deliver free counselling. peer support and evidence-based education programs for people affected by road trauma.Â
The Transport Accident Commission reports that 94 lives have been lost on Victorian roads within the last 12 months.Â
