ONE INJURED IN MOTHERS DAY ROAD ACCIDENT

A man in his 30’s was lucky to escape with minor injuries after rolling his vehicle in Dennington/Illowa early Sunday Morning.

Emergency services responded to a triple zero call to the intersection of the Princes Highway and Conns Lane just before 1:30AM.

According to Police a Holden Astra had lost control, crashed, and flipped, before the sole occupant was assisted by CFA, SES and Ambulance Victoria.

The 32-year-old man from Churchill was out of the vehicle on arrival of police and had somewhat minor injuries considering the crash.

He was taken to hospital by Ambulance Victoria for observation. The scene was cleaned up and the vehicle towed.
