Brierly Reserve will be lit up in the early mornings and evenings to help women and girls feel more confident participating in physical activities in the area during the colder, darker months.
This initiative by the Warrnambool City Council, in collaboration with South West Sport, will be trialled and surveyed to gauge the feasibility of keeping the lights on during the winter months, with the potential to roll this out to other council-owned reserves.
