Police are warning south west motorists they will be caught if they do the wrong thing on the roads over the Easter long weekend.
Police will be undertaking Operation Nexus, starting Thursday and coming to end in the late hours of Monday.
Police are promising more officers than ever on the road enforcing the laws.
Road Policing Acting Assistant Commissioner, Justin Goldsmith, said police were focused on uplifting our road policing enforcement.
“We saw a significant year-on-year increase of both patrol hours and infringements issued during last month’s Labor Day long weekend operation”, Assistant Commissioner Justin Goldsmith said.
“We’ll again be throwing every available resource at this weekend’s Easter road safety blitz.
“We know this is a weekend that attracts significant travel across the state, so we won’t be taking any chances – and neither should you.”
