An extra stop has been added to the 3.15pm V/Line service from Warrnambool to Southern Cross tomorrow (Thursday 26).
The added stop will be at the South Geelong station, with the idea to allow football fans to disembark there and only have a walking distance to GMHBA Stadium, where Geelong will play the Adelaide Crows.
The train will arrive at 5.40pm, with the football to start at 7.30pm
Member for Western Victoria Jacinta Ermacora said it made sense that the train stops at South Geelong so fans can easily walk across to GMHBA Stadium.”
“I’m glad that Labor’s affordable fares make it easier for south west Victoria’s footy fans to travel to games in Geelong and Melbourne,” Ms Ermacora said.
