A disappointing start on south west roads for the March Labour Day long weekend, with a speeding driver aprehended.
Police intercepted a vehicle travelling along the Glenelg Highway in Coleraine at 139 km/h.
Police impounded the vehicle and the driver will face the Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
The police action was part of the statewide Operation Arid, which is aimed to keep roads safe this long weekend.
