Thieves have struck a cruel blow to a young man in Portland over the weekend.
The boy’s electric motorbike was stolen overnight on Saturday from the Silvers Circus site in Portland, at Boat Ramp Park, on Lee Breakwater Road.
The SurRon bike was chained and locked but thieves were up to the task of stealing it, despite these precautions.
The young man had saved for months to buy the second hand bike and had only had it to two weeks.
A reward of $500 is being offered for its safe return.
