MEMORABLE WIN IN CLASSIC RACE

Queensland based rider Josh Beikoff took out the 2026 Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic on Saturday.

The original break of 7 going away early on the M1 highway to build up a huge lead of 13 minutes plus to slowly whittle down to 3 riders fighting it out for the win up the iconic Raglan Parade, Warrnambool.

Following one of the closest finishes in recent years, Beikoff enjoyed the biggest win of his career, holding off Oliver Stenning and Swiss rider Kevin Biffiger.

Race time was 5h45’5 with a super fast 45km per hour average thanks to a predominantly tail wind.
