Two people have been arrested on suspicion drug offences after a single vehicle accident on the Princes Highway just east of Terang this on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood a car crashed into a barrier on the Princes Highway about 5.30pm.
The driver and passenger allegedly fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A woman was located shortly later on Spring Dam Road before she was arrested.
She was released pending further enquiries.
A man was arrested nearby about 6.25pm and was transported to hospital under police guard.
A bag containing drugs and cash was seized near the scene.
