Corangamite Shire Council has landed a big fish as its guest speaker for International Women’s Day.
Alison Watkins AM will be the keynote speaker at and International Women’s Day morning tea at the Killara Centre in Camperdown on March 4.
Ms Watkins has been a leading figure at companies such as Coca Cola and Wesfarmers, and is the chancellor of the university of Tasmania.
To add a local connection, Ms Watkins owns a cropping and cattle farm near Camperdown.
Registrations for the event are required and can be made at the Corangamite Shire website.
