HAWKESDALE GET THE JOB DONE

Hawkesdale has claimed its first women’s Warrnambool Moyne cricket association premiership.

The grand final was played on Sunday at Reid Oval, with Hawkesdale taking on Allansford Panmure.

Hawkesdale batted first and made 4 for 138 from 30 overs.

Scarlett O’Donnell top scored with 63 off just 42 balls.

The Gators did not get the opportunity to respond to this total, with rain setting in and seeing the game called off.

Hawkesdale was crowned premiers thanks to finishing the home and away season on the top of the ladder.
