UPDATE: POLICE INVESTIGATE MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

Warrnambool Highway Patrol officers are investigating a motorcycle crash in Naringal East, on Saturday, 21 February.

It is believed the teenage boy was riding his motorcycle along the Cobden-Warrnambool Road when he lost control and crashed into a group of trees just after 11.30am.

Emergency services attended and the boy was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.

Ambulance Victoria has airlifted a teenager to the Alfred Hospital after a road accident at Naringal East.

Emergency Services were called to the Cobden-Warrnambool Road just after 11:40 Saturday morning.

The road was closed between Ayresford Road and Rollos Road while emergency services including the Air Ambulance Helicopter worked at the scene.

According to Ambulance Victoria An air ambulance helicopter as well as Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedics assessed and treated one person at the scene.

A teenage male with upper body injuries was airlifted to The Alfred.

Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
