Koroit’s Talor Byrne has put his name forward for an AFL debut in round one.
On Wednesday night, Byrne played his first practice game for the Blues, against the Brisbane Lions.
In an impressive display, Byrne kicked three goals as the Blues claimed victory.
The Blues first game of the season is against Sydney on March 5.
Byrne was drafted to Carlton in November last year, at pick 45.
The small forward played for the Greater Western Victoria Rebels in 2025, as well as lining up for Koroit in the Hampden league grand final.
