Congratulations to South Warrnambool Football Netball Club expat Hugh McCluggage who has been named captain of AFL club Brisbane Lions.
McCluggage will share skipper duties with Harris Andrews and Josh Dunkley.
McCluggage has been vice-captain in the Lions back-to-back premierships season of 2024-25.
His standing in the game continues to grow, with representing Victoria against Western Australia in state of origin on Saturday another string to his bow.
