CFA DEBATE HITS PARLIAMENT

Resources for CFA crews in the Colac area and otways areas has been the subject of a spirited debate in state parliament.

Member for Polworth Richard Riordan questioned the minister for Emergency Services, Vicki Ward, about what the Colac Otway region was getting in return for the  $5 million it pays in extra Emergency Services Tax payments.

The minister said the government was not only providing the funding needed to emergency services, but was also pro-active in taking on climate change.
