THREE INJURED IN GRASSMERE

Ambulance Victoria responded to a collision in Grassmere at around 10:30am today.

Advanced Life Support, Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance and specialist air ambulance paramedics responded to the scene.

The male driver and sole occupant of one of the trucks has been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries.

Two male occupants from the second truck, the driver and passenger, were transported by road in a stable condition.

The exact circumstances around the collision will be investigated.

Ten emergency appliances are responding to an accident. It is believed two trucks are involved at the scene.


The road is closed on the Hopkins Highway at the Grassmere Junction (west)
The accident occurred at the intersection of Grassmere Road, Rosehill Road and Ibbs Lane.
