Fire crews have battled extremely challenging weather conditions as they work to contain a number of fires burning in the Otway Ranges.
More than 2,800 customers are without power, after the fire impacted one of the networks main powerlines.
At 8PM on Tuesday night, another Emergency Warning was issued is for Barongarook, Barongarook West, Barramunga, Barwon Downs, Carlisle River, Forrest, Gellibrand, Gerangamete, Irrewillipe East, Kawarren, Lovat, Upper Gellibrand, Yaugher.
That warning advised that the fire was threatening homes and lives, and that it was too late to leave the area.
This Emergency Warning replaced the Emergency Warning – Evacuate Immediately issued at 5:04 pm Tuesday 27th January.Â
