COUNCILLORS APPROVE AUTHORITY TO APPROVE EXPENDITURE

Moyne Shire Councillors have delegated authority to the Chief Executive Officer to approve expenditure of up to $100,000 for the commissioning and delivery of the investigation and associated report into the state and viability of Belfast Aquatics Port Fairy.

The decision was made on Tuesday at Moyne’s January council meeting.

Councillors Jim Doukas, Jordan Lockett, Lisa Ryan and Karen Foster voted in favour of the decision, with Susan Taylor and Lloyd Ross voting against.

Cr Myra Murrihy did not vote due to declaring a conflict of interest.
