Another chapter in a long history of civic service has come to an end for Warrnambool’s Glenys Phillpot.
Mrs Phillpot has stepped down from the WRAD Health committee of management after 25 years.
While she is proud of the work done by WRAD in this time, she believes the The Lookout Warrnambool Residential Rehabilitation Centre is the missing piece.
“I want to stay involved with the Lookout Committee if I can be useful, it’s an absolute passion of mine,” she said.
“I’ll be delighted when that is eventually set up in Warrnambool to serve the region.”
Mrs Phillpot is a former Warrnambool City Council mayor and recipient of the Order of Australia Medal.
