Fire Brigades across the region have worked to control a number of fires that broke out within half an hour of one another on Wednesday morning.
A storage shed to stock livestock feed caught fire just before 10:30AM.
It quickly spread to other parts of the shed before CFA volunteers from the Mortlake district managed to bring it under control.
Due to the nature of the fire, a specialist fire investigator was brought in to help advise crews the right way to bring it under control.

One of the more concerning fires of the morning was a bushfire that broke out in the Framlingham area.
It was reported as a fire in a gum tree plantation, that was surrounded by long grass.
The fire spread quickly and at least 30 houses at Kirrae Avenue were under threat.
Fire Fighting aircraft from Hamilton managed to douse the fire, assisting ground crews to bring the fire under control.

Another fire at the Corangamite Shires Transfer station also broke out this morning in a pile of rubbish.
Fire Brigades from the Cobden & Camperdown areas were called out, and due to arriving on the scene fast – managed to bring it under control.
A fire bombing helicopter from Colac was dispatched, but was called off due to the work of ground crews.

The fire led to the temporary closure of the transfer station but it was reopened early in the afternoon.
Temperatures reached 38 degrees in Warrnambool and pushed closer to 40 degrees further inland.
