ONE AIRLIFTED AFTER PORTLAND ACCIDENT

Ambulance Victoria was called to a road incident in Portland at around 12:40pm today (2 January).

A specialist Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crew, Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedic crews assessed and treated three patients at the scene.

Two women, one in her 40s and one in her 70s, were both transported by road ambulance to Portland Public Hospital with minor injuries in a stable condition.

A man in his 70s is being airlifted to The Royal Melbourne Hospital with upper body injuries in a serious condition.
