HOME SAVED BY FAST ACTING FIRE CREWS

Fire Rescue Victoria responded to an incident on Verdon Street, Warrnambool at 11.21am following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting a shed fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene in six minutes to find a 6x6m garage involved with fire.

Crews worked to contain extinguish the flames and prevent it from spreading into the adjoining dwelling. The incident was deemed under control at 11.32am.

Victoria Police were also in attendance.

Three people were evacuated and luckily no one was injured.

A portion of Verdon Street was closed to traffic while fire crews worked to control the fire.
